Daniel, 60 East 65th Street, New York: A restaurant owned by Chef Daniel Boulud offering a contemporary French menu, and is considered by some to offer the best dining experience in the city.   Although not the cheapest option, the Three-course option will set you back around $100 and is great value.

The Ember Room, 647 9th Ave. between 45th And 46th Streets. NY – The well regarded Asian-fusion Ember Room serves mouthwatering dishes such as Red Chili Glazed Salmon and Chocolate Baby Back Ribs.  Prices are reasonable but for a full review read Jan Ross’s (on wanderlustwonder.com) The Ember Room, New York.
