Musée du Vin (Wine Museum), 5 Rue des Eaux (square Charles Dickens): Situated in a former monastry across the river from the Eiffel Tower, the Musée du Vin as you would expect offers tasting lessons and all things wine. Perhaps take the Metro (Passy stop) and not drive!

Notre Dame de Paris, Paris: Forget the Hunchback! Our Lady of Paris is a fine example of French Gothic architechture and worth a visit providing you don’t mind a wait to get in!  The site of the Notre Dame has been a place of religious importance dating back to the sixth century, yet following the revolution the cathedral suffered desecration; however, Vitor Hugo’s campaign succeeded in restoring this magnificant building.  Notre Dame is No.3 in our Travel Icon Series.
