Picture The World Project, Wyoming

Wyoming-PTWP

Photo by Gary Yeates of thegreyglobe.com

The majority of Yellowstone National Park is housed inside Wyoming, United States although it does spread its wings into Montana and Idaho.  The first established National Park in the world way back in 1872, Yellowstone sits atop the continent’s largest super volcano.  The accompanying froth and bubble is reason enough to visit but the jaw-dropping landscapes and proliferation of wildlife gives the park an enviable CV.  Gaze at the herd of bison surrounding your car while geysers explode in the background.  Yellowstone justifies the hype.
I have nominated two friends now on the road, Craig Golding and Penny Colvin.

Another stunning photo from Gary, thanks for sharing.
