Picture The World Project, Crete

Crete PTWP

The south coast of Crete is peppered with tiny villages typical of the island.  Many are accessible only either by boat or a long hike.  This cute as a button village of Loutro is one such example.

We decided to do it both ways, a walk in and the ferry out.  There’s not too much to do in Loutro except ponder how forgiving life can be at times.

Gary has shared some fantastic photos for the Picture The World Project, and this landscape of Crete is another great shot.
