A typical scene in busy cities and small villages all over Vietnam – a woman wearing a conical nón lá hat (leaf hat) while carrying goods in a yoke basket over her shoulder. In some parts of the country a poem is inscribed inside the hat which can only be read when held up to the light.
I’d like to nominate Tricia A Mitchell (www.triciaannemitchell.com) for her lovely shots of India and Madhu from TheUrge to Wander (www.theurgetowander.com).
Thanks Suzanne for this photo, a common yet striking image from a street in Vietnam. Good luck Tricia and Madhu.

I’ve never been to Vietnam but know exactly what to expect if I ever do from Suzanne’s wonderful range of photos.
