When most Canadians think of Saskatchewan, they imagine prairie fields. The province does produce 10% of the world’s total exported wheat but more than half the province sits upon the Canadian Shield. Saskatchewan’s terrain is made up of lakes, bogs, pine forests, and rock and the traditional form of transportation is the canoe.
