Picture The World Project, Palestinian Territory

Palestine Wall

Photo by Si Salter of thedepartureboard.com

This photo was taken not long after passing through the Jerusalem security control.  Our guides ageing Mercedes represents hope of a repressed nation, an entrepreneur spreading the word of his people while trying to make a living.  The grafitti covered wall is a constant reminder of  the Palestinian peoples lack of freedom.  Hopefully peace will return soon to this region.  Though I fear it won’t be in my lifetime.

I challenge Lucy Dodsworth (ontheluce.com) and Dylan Lowe (thetravellingeditor.com) to fill in a blank.
