Picture The World Project, Laos

Photo by Britany Robinson of sotcblog.com

Whenever I think back on my time in Laos, its the stunning Buddhist temples that come to mind. These smiling Buddha statues are everywhere. Obviously, they represent the Buddhist religion but they also seem to reflect the general happiness and free-spirit attitude that emanates from this city and the rest of Laos. I found Laos to be one of the friendliest places I’ve ever visited and the bright gold faces of these smiling Buddhas represent a contentment with life that so many Laos people seem to embrace.

I nominate Dylan Lowe (travelingeditor.com) and Leslie (cgtravelsblog.com).

Thanks Britany for sharing this glorious photo for Laos.  I enjoyed my time there and the beer wasn’t bad either!  Dylan, this is the second time you have been nominated! Go for it Leslie.
