Sun Salutation in New Delhi’s Lodi Gardens: The Lodi Gardens are spread out on more than 90 acres, populated with handsome 15th century tombs, a mosque and lush flora. They are an ideal haven in which to escape the honking horn symphony that is so common in India’s capital city and the entire country. There, you’ll find yogis doing sun salutations, power walkers and ponds of vibrant water lilies. When the park is clouded in a haze, it evokes the magic of India – an intriguing land full of beautiful souls and a rich culture.
I would like to nominate Cornelia (strassenfotojournal.com) to submit a photo to represent her native Germany (she is fond of streetscapes), and Virginia (belocchio.wordpress.com) to share a favorite image of hers from a country of her choosing.
Thank you Tricia for this glorious photo showing a snapshot of India’s beauty. Over to Cornelia and Virginia, we look forward to your contributions.
