Picture The World Project, France

A Cafe Scene in Paris France

Photo by Lucy Dodsworth of ontheluce.com

A classic French cafe scene – this was taken in Montmartre in Paris, but you find scenes like this all over France. It’s a country where people take their eating and drinking seriously. Whether catching up with a group of friends or on your own watching the world go by, it’s something to be savoured and not to be rushed.

I challenge Johanna Bradley (www.restlessjo.wordpress.com) and Kathryn Burrington (www.travelwithkat.com) to complete a country each.

Thank you Lucy for being the first contributor to the Picture The World Project.  Lucy’s photo truly captures the essence of French culture.  Good luck to Johanna and Kathryn!
