Picture The World Project, Alberta

When I was nominated by a friend to fill a gap on this project I thought I would struggle to pick just one picture. Looking through my pictures I found this one and decided instantly. I love this picture taken on an ice walk through Johnston Canyon in Banff, Alberta. It shows the grip that winter has taken with the water frozen as it cascades down the waterfalls and the fast moving water swirling below the ice. A truly beautiful place I would love to visit Alberta again.

I nominate friends Michael and Geoff.

Thanks for sharing Karen.  I’ve actually been to this spot, very beautiful.  I can’t wait to return to Alberta soon.  Over to Michael and Geoff.
